ABOUT
Ottoline is a London-based Dutch design house celebrated for its striking and imaginative wallpapers and fabrics. Founded and designed by Ottoline de Vries, the studio’s creations burst with playful colour and bold patterns, drawing inspiration from a deep appreciation for nature and a fascination with historical styles and artistic traditions.

Ottoline’s journey began in Amsterdam, where she worked as a lawyer while spending her free time restoring and personalising antiques. Unable to find patterns that matched her vision, she began designing her own pieces, which quickly drew admiration from friends and family. Recognition came swiftly. Being shortlisted for the Rijksstudio Award at the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam and featured in Residence magazine ignited her passion to leap fully into design.
.
Relocating to London, a hub of design and innovation, Ottoline introduced her debut wallpaper collection, which was awarded Best Wallpaper Collection by Homes & Gardens in 2015. The recognition sparked her to launch her namesake design studio marking the beginning of a fresh and inspiring voice in interiors. Her work has since regularly appeared in publications such as House & Garden, The World of Interiors, Architectural Digest, and Homes & Gardens, where she is celebrated for her unique style.
Having lived in London for over a decade, Ottoline now feels deeply connected to the city and its creative pulse, which continue to inspire her evolving collections and artistic vision. She collaborates closely with interior designers, artisans, and brands, inviting them to explore her ever-expanding treasure trove of patterns, wallpapers, and fabrics, each piece designed to bring joy, colour, and soul to the spaces we live in.
