​Weights, dimensions and descriptions of products given by us to you for any purpose are stated in good faith but are approximate only and will not bind Ottoline in any way. We reserve the right to withdraw, or amend, the specification of any goods and pattern without further notice to you. Please allow variance on sizes stated especially when orders are placed at different times.

 

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the Ottoline Website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, tablet or mobile device, we cannot guarantee that your monitor,'s tablet's or mobile device's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. 

 

All sizes and measurements are approximate. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Ottoline Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published, including prices and promotions.

 

Durability of products published is only indicative. The durability of any product will be affected by the application and treatment of the product, the intensity of its use, its location and the standard of maintenance employed. Ottoline cannot accept claims caused by any reason or conditions of use.

All information and advise either published on the Ottoline Website, sent to you by email or shared with you over the phone has been supplied in good faith and can only be interpreted as general guidance.

I N T E N D E D   U S E

Ottoline does not warrant that the product is fit for any particular purpose or intended use by you and it is for you to satisfy yourselves that the product is fit for purpose for the end use you envisage.

Fabrics - Domestic (UK) - Fabric for upholstery or loose furniture covers. Our linen fabrics are offered without flame retardant coatings. Untreated these fabrics pass the cigarette test (Schedule 4 Part 1 of the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended), but must be used in combination with a fire-resistant interliner (fire barrier) that meets the requirements of Schedule 3 of the Regulations. Please ask your upholsterer to advise.

Fabrics - Contract. All our products are offered without flame retardant coatings. It is your responsibility to ensure that the product is treated with the appropriate fire retardant coatings and complies with the relevant performance and testing requirements as per the law, regulations and standards applicable in your country and/or region. Flame retardant coatings applied by accredited flammability laboratories can be organised by Ottoline at additional costs to be quoted. Ottoline is not responsible for the flame retardant treatment specification. This specification shall be provided by you.

We do not accept liability for any faults caused onto the fabric or products as a result of fire retardant treatment outside of our control.

All of our products are designed for interior use only.

S I Z E   A N D   C O L O U R   M A T C H

Ottoline cannot guarantee an exact match in either colour or quality between a sample and delivered goods. 

Please note we do not guarantee colour and size match between the same products ordered by you in separate orders. We do not guarantee colour and size match between wallpaper and fabric with the same pattern. 

C L A S S I F I C A T I O N   A S   F A U L T Y

Our patterns are digitally printed on a natural woven fabric which has natural and manufacturing variations and characteristics such as slubs and knots. Very occasionally these variations and characteristics prevent print dye from covering the full surface of the fabric. We believe this gives our fabrics a distinctive and unique character. You will accept that these product characteristic cannot be classified as faulty.

R E T U R N A B L E S

Ottoline will require to receive a deposit for product returnables. The deposit will be refunded once the product has been returned to Ottoline or will be deducted from the order amount for the same product.  

P R I C E S

 

Prices include VAT and exclude delivery charges. All prices are correct at time of publishing but may change due to administrative errors or circumstances beyond our control, such as any variations to the rate of VAT. Ottoline is not responsible for import duties for International shipments.

P L A C I N G   A N   O R D E R

 

Ottoline may modify the terms and conditions on the Ottoline Website without notifying you. You agree to periodically review these terms and conditions to be aware of any such revisions. Should the revision be unacceptable to you, you agree to stop accessing the Ottoline Website. Your continued use of the Ottoline Website after any such revision(s) shall be deemed as acceptance of and agreement to abide by all such revisions. Prices are subject to change without notice. These changes will not affect orders that have already been despatched. Prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable).

 

All products sold on the Ottoline Website are made to order and are non-stocked items. This means that every order will only be produced on payment in full of the value of the order. Due to the pandemic current lead times are as follows:

- Fabrics: 4 - 5 weeks from receipt of payment

- Wallpaper: 2 - 3 weeks from receipt of payment

Please take these lead times into account when planning your project

 

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are satisfied that all details and aspects of your order are correct and suitable for your requirements including without limitation measurements, dimensions, product features and delivery. Ottoline is not responsible for any implications resulting from incorrect details and aspects of your order.

 

When you place an order on the Ottoline Website we shall email you an order confirmation email. Once you have checked out and you have received your order confirmation email you will not be able to make any changes to your order so please make sure that everything is correct before clicking the 'PAY’ button.

 

We recommend that when ordering wallpapers or fabrics that advice is sought from a trained professional. Ottoline can only advise suitable meterage of products in good faith, but does not take responsibility for over or under ordering of products. Any additional orders as a result of under ordering will be treated as a separate order and cannot be added on to previous orders.

 

We reserve the right to refuse an order. If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time. We will take all necessary measures to keep the details of your order and payment secure.

 

To be eligible to purchase products on this website you must be over 18 years of age, register by providing your real name, phone number, email address, payment details and other requested information and also provide a valid delivery address and a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. Please note that PO box numbers, hotels and temporary addresses are not permitted.

D I S C O U N T   C O D E S

 

You may occasionally receive discount codes from us, via email or through promotional materials. Each code is unique to the recipient, is not transferable, has no monetary value and under no circumstances can it be converted into currency. Each code has an expiry date, which will be stated at the time of promotion or on accompanying promotional materials which cannot be modified. Codes can only be redeemed online.

When an order is placed using a promotional code and contains a number of items, the value of the discount is spread over each item according to the pro-rated value of that item. Any refund of an item purchased in such an order will be reduced by the value of discount attached to it. The ‘discount’ will not be refunded.

 

Under no circumstances can the value of a discount code be deducted from an order if that code is defective or out of date: no replacement codes will be issued.

 

Only one discount voucher can be used per order. If any other rules apply to a specific promotion, these will be clearly stated at the time of promotion or on accompanying promotional materials.

S H I P P I N G

 

Ordered products will be shipped by Ottoline’s suppliers within 48 hours after production. Wallpaper are shipped from The Netherlands, fabrics are shipped from the UK.

 

Availability of products cannot be guaranteed. If you have ordered an item that is not longer in production or is delayed, we will notify you via email or telephone.

 

You will receive a shipment confirmation email with the shipping tracking number when the order has been dispatched. UK and EU residents will pay VAT on their purchase.

 

For international orders, a customs duty will be charged to you depending upon the country in which you reside. Ottoline is not responsible for payment of this duty. The shipping company will contact you once your items are in customs to let you know the cost. Be aware that this may delay your delivery time as goods held at customs. It will be your responsibility to pay the necessary charges for local authorities to release the goods.

D E L I V E R Y

 

Once an order is placed it will be dispatched within 48 hours of its production lead time as outlined in these terms and conditions save for weekends and public holidays.

 

We shall not be liable for delays and/or failures in delivery if we cannot gain access to the property.

 

Delivery dates are not guaranteed but we will do our utmost to ensure goods are delivered within the stated date. If you have not received your order within 20 working days from payment please contact our Customer Service team on customersevice@ottoline.co.uk

R I S K   O F   L O S S   O R   D A M A G E

 

Ottoline caries the risk of loss or damage to the ordered products until you receive them. The products belong to you when you have received them and have paid us in full. If you return the products to us for any reason, they will become our property and be at our risk from the time we receive them.

 

Please note that you have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession and we

hold the right to deny returns if the merchandise returned does not meet our policy requirements.

R E T U R N   P O L I C Y

 

All Ottoline products are made to order only. We do not accept returns unless the product is a) damaged in transit before you receive them or b) if the product is faulty.

 

All goods are dispatched suitably packaged for transit purposes only. You should inspect the goods upon delivery and check that no items are damaged. If goods are damaged you should sign for as such upon delivery and contact customerserivce@ottoline.co.uk within 24 hours of delivery including photographic evidence of the damage. We do not take responsibility for goods that have been damaged after delivery as a result of poor handling or storage.

You must check the product for faults before installation. Should you believe that your item is faulty you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery at  customerserivce@ottoline.co.uk including photographic evidence.

 

For orders within the EU, please organise return shipment using your preferred local courier. Please note you will be fully responsible for payment of all return shipping costs. For international orders (outside of the EU), please email us at customerserivce@ottoline.co.uk and we will create a return shipping label and deduct the cost from the amount to be refunded. If you organise your own return shipment, you will be responsible for any taxes and duties incurred.

 

Items should be returned to: Ottoline, 56 Grand Avenue, London, N10 3BP within 20 working days. If the item returned meets our return terms, any sum debited from your credit or debit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as the goods are received and processed, excluding the initial shipping cost. Please note, we will not cover decorator costs or any other additional costs that arise as this is solely your responsibility.

Ottoline will respect the privacy of your personal data, and will comply with all relevant and current data protection legislation. We will not disclose your personal data to anyone, unless required to do so by a court of competent jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any such amendments will take effect when posted on the Ottoline Website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use the Ottoline Website. The continued use of the Ottoline Website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
